1. Content of the online services:
The authors and developers take no responsibility whatsoever for the up-to-dateness, correctness, completeness or quality of the information provided. Liability claims against the authors which are based on material or immaterial damage caused by the use or non-use of the information presented, or by the use of erroneous or incomplete information, are expressly excluded, provided there is no evidence of intentional or gross negligence on the part of the authors. All services are subject to change and are non-binding. The authors expressly reserve the right to change, to supplement, or to delete parts of pages or the entire range of services offered without special prior notice as well as to end publication for a certain period of time or for good.
2. References and Links:
With regard to direct or indirect references to external Internet pages ("links"), which lie outside the authors’ realm of responsibility, liability would only apply if the authors have knowledge of the content and if it were technically and reasonably possible for them to prevent the usage of unlawful content. The authors hereby expressly declare that at the time of setting up the links, no illegal content on the pages to be linked could be identified. The authors have no influence on the current and future design, the content or the authorship of the linked pages. Therefore, they hereby expressly disassociate themselves from all of the content of all of the linked pages which were changed after the links had been set up. This declaration is valid for all the links set up within their own Internet online services as well as for entries made by outsiders in the guest books provided by the authors, discussion forums and mailing lists. Sole responsibility for illegal, erroneous or incomplete content, and in particular, for damage resulting from the use or non-use of information thus presented, lies with the provider of the page(s) to which reference is made, not the one who merely refers to the published material via links.
3. Copyright and Trademark Law:
In all their publications, the authors strive to acknowledge the copyright of graphics, audio files, video clips and texts, to use graphics, audio files, video clips and texts which they have produced themselves, or to resort to public-domain graphics, audio files, video clips and texts. All brands and trademarks mentioned in the online services and, should the situation arise, brands and trademarks protected by third parties, are subject without restriction to the conditions the respective valid trademark law and the ownership titles of the respective registered owners. Just by reason of a mere mentioning, one may not conclude that the trademark is not protected by the rights of a third party! The copyright for published works which have been created by the authors themselves remains solely with the authors of the pages. Copying or using such graphics, audio files, video clips and texts in other electronic or printed publications is not allowed without the express permission of the authors.
4. Data privacy:
If, within the online services, the possibility exists of entering personal or business details (e-mail addresses, names, street addresses), then the revealing of these details by the user is expressly done on a voluntary basis. Usage of and payment for all services offered is allowed, if technically and reasonably possible, even without giving such details or by giving anonymized details or a pseudonym.
5. Validity of this disclaimer:
This disclaimer is part of the online services of Kehl University. If parts of this text, or particular cases of phrasing therein, should not comply with the current legal position, or no longer comply, or not completely comply, then the remaining parts of the document are not affected, neither as to their content nor to their validity.
